Some of you have known for years the hand of God was upon you. He called you to wield His sword and bring Him glory.
Why are you silent?
The world must have taken your attention for a season, but Jesus says, get up now and do your job.
No more silence.
Some of you are women.
Listen. I know the hard soil we trek, but we cannot use the excuse that the church has resisted our calling. It was never about pleasing men. There is an open door for you. Christ Jesus has made sure of it.
Preach somewhere. Teach somewhere. Mend hearts somewhere.
But start somewhere.
Christ understands your obstacles, but we must look at them as mere directing cones.
Perhaps, inside what we have called the church is not your operating space?
Go into the highways and the byways.
Look with His creative eyes. Throw off the religious restraints of what you think it should look like.
He is moving fresh and new. Go to the people. Stop waiting for them to come to you.
Your single step may very well open Heaven’s footprints to that land of yours.
But if you remain silent…what will Heaven then say?
You can’t steer a parked car.
We all have difficulties. Boundaries that are hard to breach. Personal trials. Those who think we can’t do this or do that.
What does Jesus say?
Whatever He told you to do, get at it.
Someone is depending on you to step into that thing. Their eternal resting place is at stake. There are broken hearts in need of healing. There are chains that need to be broken.
WHO you have, they need.
So, why are you silent?
