You’ve come to a crossroads. It’s either follow Christ or go down with the ship.
There is a tempest tossing you to and fro and the ship is breaking apart. It carries all that you have been, all of your past memories, and all of your past pains.
Suddenly, the convergence of two seas brings torrential rains that seem as if they were sent to kill you. Yet, under the dangerous current of storms and waves is the bubbling up of promise. The hand of God is reckoning with destiny. It is the crushing that brings the anointing.
You can see the bay with a beach. It’s inviting and tranquil. It’s a land you’ve desired for some time. But you can’t seem to get there from where you are.
The waves are violent and the prow is stuck. You are immovable. You have to let go of the anchors now. Every weight holding you in place must go. Man’s approval, fear, relationships keeping you bound, and loyalty that will drive you to a spiritual grave. You will have to throw overboard each one deliberately if you want to be free, free indeed.
The stern you see is being broken up by the crashing of the waves and you realize Christ is ridding you of any way back to the past. The back of the ship is disappearing. It’s a visible sign that Christ will not allow you to go back to old patterns, old ways, old teachings, and old ministries. This is a new thing.
You will have to jump overboard and swim to the shore. Faith rises merely because you have no options left and all is now left behind you. It’s just you and Jesus now.
You swim to a land of milk and honey. In this place Christ adorns you with honor. Everything you’ve desired with Him is before your eyes. The tempest had forced a decision. A change. The road to the past was no longer because Christ reckoned with your destiny-where two seas meet.”
Act 27:41 – But striking a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the prow stuck fast and remained immovable, but the stern was being broken up by the violence of the waves.
