Christ sees beauty entirely different than we do..He sees deeper. He sees from heaven’ glory…heaven’s perspective…wonder what would happen if we would ask Him to help us see too this way?
What is Beauty?
Tell me of beauty Lord and what thou doth see?
For I have a feeling it’s little to do with me.
As I think on the cross and your splattered blood
Isn’t this the greatest beauty and most authentic love?
Now think upon death and human minds
A beautiful gate to see to my eyes
Rejoice I do when any my sheep
Enter into eternity.
“Beauty” is valleys of deep despair
Where learning comes thru long travail
Where pain runs over into the deep
But love remains when waters recede.
Consider thy cup of water you give
For from this beauty allows one to live.
The clothing of one naked and bare
Beauty takes off even what thyself wears.
Beauty stands in between life and death
For brothers and sisters in Satan’s nets.
Laying down lives for someone else
Considering not first yourselves.
Beauty is those that vast oceans weep
Whose tears bleed long for those in need.
Beauty will stand up and dare to be scorned
Resisting not thy Father’s war.
Beauty is the site of a child alone
When Father leads you to help them home
Beauty is hugs that squeeze to death
The Lies from Satan’s deadly breath.
Beauty is hands that hold and lift heads
Of one who has been walking dead.
Beauty is silencing all the noise
To praise Him in the midst of tormenting storms.
Beauty is when one of My kids realize
Their heavenly gifts can deliver life.
Beauty is seeing thyself as weak,
empty, and needy;
yet willing to speak.
Beauty within is more than just self
It’s me who inside thy temple dwells.
For robed in righteous royal robes
Oh, bloods dear beauty washed white as snow.
Beauty is suffering in His fellowship
When struck by waves and mocking whips.
Beauty is thy heart so deeply in love
In love enough to obey My Son.
Beauty is when you realize you will be hurt and you’ll be despised
Yet you still choose to be a warrior wise
Because Beauty in you is ME who resides.
And finally..
Beauty is the Saint who loses life
And instead whispers “Lord, today I choose to die…”
