This phrase sang out of my heart during worship this morning and I knew that our sweet Jesus wanted to speak into this tender place for some wondering hearts…

 

What does it matter

If you’re rejected by men

You’ve been chosen by God

So what does it matter?

 

What does it matter

If they don’t see your gifts

That gift will make room for you

So what does it matter?

 

What does it matter

If you’ve been overlooked

Jesus has a seat at His table just for you

So what does it matter?

 

What does it matter

If they never acknowledge your worth

Jesus paid the ultimate price you’re so valuable to Him

So what does it matter?

 

What does it matter

That you were cast out of that circle

Jesus sets the lonely in families

So what does it matter?

 

What does it matter

If they think your crazy

Jesus says without faith it’s impossible to please Him

So what does it matter?

 

What does it matter

That they can’t seem to see the real you

El Roi is the God who sees…you.

So what does it matter?

 

You’re fully loved, fully seen, fully accepted in the Beloved…

 

That, friend, is all that matters…
