If you listened to this week’s radio program, the Lord had me share about eagles and what it is about them that we are to be like. He has continued to teach me more and more about the Eagle and nudged me to live as one best I can. I love His lessons and the way He weaves Himself into His creation..giving us wise instruction and visual aids to follow Him better..there is an important lesson we learn from the Eagle about “waiting on the wind…” that is much paralleled to our walking in the Spirit of the Lord.

“Waiting the Wind”

Today I sit on the edge of a cliff
Waiting.. just waiting..

Longing for the wind currents to shift
Waiting…just waiting..

Stoic and still paused for release
I’m waiting…I’m just waiting..

Listening for the gentle whistling of winds
Waiting. ..just waiting. ..

Dare not I do jump too soon or too late
Waiting…I’m just waiting. .

For power must come with Kingdom scaled weight…
So I’m waiting…just waiting. ..

But soon does His wind hover above
While waiting. . Just waiting

Commands then He does it’s time to “mount up”
No more waiting….no more waiting…
