There has been a Great War against women since the garden. Indeed, my brothers have much of the same but not quite the same.
There has been a full-on assault to demean and devalue the woman for generations. Of course, Christ came and redeemed that, but many hold onto similar past ways and mindsets. We seemed to have skipped over the ways Christ showed us He felt about women and made full-scale doctrines of devils out of cherry-picked scriptures. At some point, we must swallow the “Full counsel of the Word.” Seriously, come up higher.
Listen, this isn’t a problem among men only and for the record, we have many allies in many brothers as well.
Daily, we have to pour truth into hurting hearts and renew their minds that they, too, are worthy. Not because of them, but because of the work of the cross and the blood of Jesus.
For a few days, I’ve had a deep sadness of heart as I’ve watched the pain of women just trying to survive, obey the Lord, and walk in freedom.
How is it that we have left them without a voice and think that God is approving our sinful ways? We are murdering God’s daughters. Honestly, it won’t bother many of us until it knocks at your own door. Perhaps when it’s your own daughter, you’ll take another look at the scriptures and be willing to repent of the intimate hand-holding with the devil.
At much personal risk, I’ve been enlisted in the war to fight on behalf of women.
It is not a fight I will stand down from.
Nor should you.
The amount of spiritual abuse in our churches is staggering. I’ve been asking the Lord how Paul would handle this to guard the sheep against further harm. We’ve let too much go for too long.
Yet God is on a mission to contend with this very issue. He does not take lightly His Word being twisted and His name being misrepresented to sell unbiblical oppression of those He calls His. This is true for men or women.
For the church to become all “she” was designed to be, the male and female will have to both be employed in the Kingdom. Where that balance is out of order will be a lack of power. If we’re honest, we see our lack even now. We’ve lost all common sense, today.
It is not good that man should be alone is a statement that is deeper than what we’d like to believe.
The woman is necessary for Kingdom work. She is made in the image of God also. She is purposed, positioned, and endowed with gifts needed to advance Gods army.
Barak wouldn’t fight without Deborah…neither should we. It wasn’t a matter of fear. It was a matter of wisdom.
Genesis 2:18
And the LORD God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper (aid) comparable to him.
