We do people no favors when we quickly dismiss their pains. For in the outward pouring of it all shall come healing. Healing is a process very often. Do not rush God and His work. For every heart is unique and pain is felt and handled differently by each.
There is no grand Christian strength in picking one’s self up by their bootstraps. The only picking up sure to do the job is Christ and Christ alone. There are many “honorable” quotes that would be best served buried and kept silent lest we cause a greater wounding.
Please withhold counsel not allowing a Saint to suffer. In the suffering, is the Savior who did quite the same. The wrestling it out proves beneficial to the strengthening of the butterfly’s wings. So it is with us in suffering. To bypass it is to quite possibly miss our very promised land. To stuff down deeply great pain is not brave in the least. To face it…. well, that… is…brave…

For in our suffering comes the treasures that are turned for King and Kingdom. Other hearts will also become brave as you do.
For Christ pierces through the darkness Himself to offer a light that frightens every onlooker. It’s brave to look at pain head on. To stare the thing down and warn it of a coming oil. An oil offered to bind up every wound.
There is great pride and piety in the hidden suffering. The pristine mask of madness that lets no one in. The facade of happiness and wholeness is not only hidden to the world but to the healing glare of the divine Healer, Himself. Be careful of relying on human effort.
He wants the vulnerability required to admit our pain. It shows our need for Him! For in this is strength. Humility. Victory. Without Christ, we really can do nothing. Especially heal.
Let the cries rise to a resounding echo and watch a gentle Father come near His child rather quickly. Your tears will not be wasted and you will hear His voice whisper, “There, there.”
“I’ve been waiting to see if you’d simply call on me, child…
