This is for those who feel you’ve had to crawl your way to the Promised Land.
Those who’ve had to endure what seems like more losses than most, more pain than most, and more battles than most.
It seems like you’re the man at the pool waiting for someone to carry you into the water, but people always step over you, overlook you, and “get theirs first.”
For all of you who feel lost in the middle of the greatest harvest, you’ve ever experienced. Yet something goes unfulfilled.
Those who’ve watched more leave than have stayed.
Those who’ve colored outside the lines of the system and have been persecuted for it, slandered for it, wounded for it.
Jesus sees you…
He sees your obedience in the isolation. Your tears in the seclusion. Your heart pain in the waiting.
He knows you’re struggling to keep going. He sees wave upon wave from the enemy’s camp.
He has not left you alone.
There is a season for everything under the sun, and His watch is ticking in sync with Heaven. Watch and pray.
He’s known He was forging a warrior in the fire. A frontline soldier who has learned endurance in the war. He sees the commitment to His cause and what it has cost you.
He’s watched you slumped in the cave, wondering if it ever gets easier, less lonely, less painful.
His promise is that there is an expected end in which all of the storms have accumulated in His nail-pierced hands, and He has planned for it to now turn the tide for your good.
Not a single test is in vain.
Not a single song will be unsung.
Not a single assault of the enemy will be overlooked.
Recompense is at hand, and the just judge will call the enemy’s debt to be paid in full. Listen for the banging of His mighty gavel as He declares, “Case closed.”
Think of your bank account being fuller of mercy. Full of gentleness and love for humanity. Full of tools that draw hearts in need of Christ.
He knows it’s been hard and at times you’ve had to fight just to stay alive.
But watch and see…
There’s going to be a beautiful plot twist you never saw coming.
So hold on dear ones.
Court is still in session.
