May we see and hear His heart…for He is weeping over His sheep…
The Lambs are down I heard Him cry
A piercing sound from Heaven’s might
A clash of thunder with lightning speed
A righteous anger from deepened grief.
I charge My people to tend the flock
Mend the wounds for they’re in shock
Give warm blankets to bring to life
Restore their joy with labored cries.
The Lambs are down I say again!
All Shepherd hearts must now commence!
Gentle hands with surgical tools
Repair the holes with teams of 2.
Get the beds in rooms of pairs
Unite the brethren against despair
Some will need some help to breathe
So give the oxygen mask from Me.
Bind the hearts with bandage strong
Walk and talk and help along
Feed The Word to one and all
And sacrifice if help is called.
Prepare Ye now thy cabinet full
Stock with medical utensils
Bullet wounds infected deep
You must be now My hands and feet.
My heart does echo Ezekiel’s cry
Strengthen the weak who’ve almost died
Bind the broken hearts so frail
Love them back to hope and health.
Seek after those driven away
Find the lost and limping strays
The Lambs Are Down!!! Again I say!!
My very own sheep have become prey.
