What is it within you that makes you unable to encourage another in the body of Christ?
When God gives an open door to love well another and lift them higher in heart, why do you stand down?
Perhaps there is a jealous seed being cultivated deeply within your heart. So you’ve withheld what Christ gave you to give?
A jealous spirit is one of the nastiest to deal with. It grows zealously and is quite passive aggressive in nature.
It behaves in ways that are so unbecoming as a child of God and deeply grieved the Holy Ghost.
It will have character traits that manifest as silence, withholding of help, refusing to embrace a heart, and acting like a friend when in reality you are not.
The jealous spirit will stay just close enough to keep up the pretense but when it’s time to sow into another life or applaud what Jesus is doing in ones life…..”crickets.” (as my kids would say)
A jealous spirit longs to touch the glory of God in another while never offering that which Christ has given them.
It’s a stingy little spirit. Secretly angry at others success or perhaps just nursing a mocking little trait because the person is used differently than them.
It loves to belittle the “way” another operates in the Kingdom.
If ever we are to fulfill destiny with Christ, we had better crucify that spirit. Deal with now or it will cost you later.
It can bring down your entire ministry.
And if the enemy sends a jealous spirit to entice you to join forces…
You can not afford it.
