Deep inside you is that which you were created to accomplish here on earth.
I believe one of the most heartbreaking things for the LORD is to see a child of His turn down their blood bought legacy.
I’m not only talking about salvation but also that which comes after salvation.
You were created for monumental Kingdom moves. Things that turn the world upside down, meet deep needs of the heart, and trek lands of danger to carry Christ to other lands and faces.
Playing it safe is selfish and never was the way of Christ and His followers.
When you study the life of the disciples, you do realize some were beheaded, imprisoned, and even crucified? They traveled long roads with little to eat at times. They were exhausted and often on the run.
It’s such a far cry from our western mindset of safe Christianity.
I was sitting with Jesus tonight and said, “Lord, I want to do something dangerous for, and with, you.
What joy I see in the lives of those who have done the dangerous journey with Jesus.
Let me ask you. When was the last time you risked anything for Christ? It’s a pondering in my own heart, friends. Going to church doesn’t count.
I realize we are called to unique walks, but we have cowered to a mindset of playing it safe instead of a mindset of no matter what I’m taking Jesus to others in need.
How easy is it for the enemy to cease your called work? When the going gets tough or outside our western approval of what it all should look like…seriously…will you, and I, still follow Jesus?
Listen, I’m going down swinging. There is zero way I’m turning my nose up to the shed blood of Jesus.
Zero.
Let us be in it for King and Kingdom. Be in it for the long haul. Be in for the sake of others.
But whatever you do, do NOT shrink back from giving people Jesus.
Ever…
