The trauma didn’t trap you, it tried you. Now it has proved you.
It took you higher into the place of the Spirit of God where hinds feet in higher places was becoming your portion.
The low level and low devils were left behind as your wilderness worked in you a weight of Glory. It was time to come into the deep waters where His wonders are seen.
Some will never understand that the testing has become a tool for you and the fire indeed forged you as gold.
Those “golden years” were filled with an unseen grace as God called you upwards to see from His vantage point.
Those years were teachings that dropped like rain and the dew that rested upon the aftermath of the storm was indeed the bread of life in tender morsels feeding you.
His speech was soft in that season because it’s what you needed and He knew it. His gentleness that makes you great showed you how to become effective in His kingdom.
As He stripped away the hardness of heart He poured in a Spirit of wisdom that is not wisdom of the natural sort.
You could see the Word in layers. It became deeper like an endless vault of treasure and you learned to live in revelation where the Spirit gives life and the flesh really does count for nothing.
Your feet as the deer were shaped to scale the heights with Christ and to fight while often hanging from the wall you were called to rebuild. You’ve become use to narrow pathways such as the way of holiness.
Narrow is the road that leads to life. Few find it.
But in the bleeding of your fingers as you held on for dear life came a purifying of your heart and even your eyesight.
Your vision became crystal clear and the fire you were in allowed you to see the fire in His eyes. The piercing gaze of the Holy One and what His righteous heart desires.
He told you of the wheel. Then He placed you on it. The Potter went to work and the end result was a remaking of who you thought you were.
Your sights were set on the low call instead of the high call but when He was done with you the mirror shown a precious shine likened to a polished arrow.
The golden years of affliction forged a new you and there was no going back to “what was.”
Like gold you had to go through a process that made you precious.
You shine differently now with a heavenly sparkle. A polishing by the divine finger of God.
Your feet have been shod fully now with the gospel of peace and they are able to navigate rough lands and terrain you once couldn’t trod.
Now those golden years are behind you to a measure and you can realize that the Christ in you reveals a splendor and brilliance that wasn’t quite there before.
Keep climbing, dear one, your Keeper is with you and He has prepared those feet of yours for any upcoming rocky lands.
What you now can see fully is that your divine equipping came through those same golden years.
