There is an empty chair that Jesus sees
Someone is afraid to take their seat
Fear of not being enough restrains
You from accepting your rightful place.
Words of defeat have gripped your soul
Many lies were sent to hold
Even grabbing your natural throat
Keeping you from your royal robe.
Remove the grave clothes you have worn
Jesus has come replacing scorn
You were ordained before time began
To fill that seat by His righteous hand.
No more can Satan have your place
If you’ll just simply release the shame
I cut the ties that have you bound
That chair will be full of Heaven’s sound.
