Have you ever been called to something that you tried to resist?
Yet, the Spirit of God arrested you. You couldn’t turn to the right or to the left only stare deep into His heart at that desire He had?
It wasn’t your dream. But it was His.
The vessel of God will find itself imprisoned by GRACE.
But don’t underestimate the sharp teeth of such a divine grace.
The very moments when you contemplate running for your life ends in a wrestling with the angel of the Lord that will leave you exhausted and faint of heart.
Until you finally stand up and say, “You Win.”
This walk with Christ is not always a bed of roses. With that rose bush comes many thorns.
But the good soldier keeps marching. No matter the cost.
Many will never see all Christ desired for them because they are unwilling to live a surrendered life.
I fully understand Jonah. I can see why he ran.
Because he knew the truth about following the Lord.
Sometimes it can hurt to be used by God.
But the alternative is to never be used by God.
You’ll have to decide what’s more important to you…
