It was a trying week prior to Saturday’s event. I was in and out of bed most of the week unsure whether I would even make the God’s Warrior Princess Women’s Conference. Many were praying and I was unsure whether it was the enemy or something I needed to see from the Lord. Finally the day before the conference I was in such pain that I flipped my Bible open asking the Lord for a word in desperation. My Bible opened directly to Ezekiel 37…”‘The Dry Bones Live…” I was reminded of a poem He had given me some time back…The Former Things...and as I read it… again, the mention of the valley of dry bones. In this, I knew the Lord was speaking to me.
He had engraved deep in my heart the prior week the poem “Loose the Colts...” for this group of women and the question…”what has you bound…or tied up?” As it was time to give the message, I looked directly at my friend who had come to help me as I was still feeling not well. I wondered did she hear what I was hearing. It was a silence…a quietness…a hush. His presence was so very commanding in this moment. As I shared The Little Peacock..for those bound in brokenness…I looked up and my eyes fell on one bent low with a tear stained face… It’s amazing what He allows you to see as He is working. As I delivered The Former Things one by one I saw hands covering faces….ahhhh, the dry bones will now receive breath says the Lord. “I will open your graves…” He has come to call them to arise. Take your place.
I watched one dear woman delivered so deeply by the Lord and knew what a mighty work He did for her as she shared her testimony with the group. I knew somehow He has grand plans for her and her heart was so very tendered by His work in her. I smiled to myself as she walked up front and took the worship banners and began to dance before the Lord with such authenticity at the end….and I thought to myself..” yes, when you have been delivered in a powerful way from darkness…you will be a deep deep worshiper. You can be in a room full of people…yet never notice as the King captivates your heart. You will worship unashamedly. It was a beautiful moment to watch.
Today as I thanked Him once again for His faithfulness knowing how very weak I really am, I now must turn my eyes toward this coming Friday night to our local Night at the Well gathering in Tyler, Texas. He has given me a message called “Return to the Altar.” I continue to wait and watch as He brings me that which is on His heart…Many times it comes at the most amazing moment. It excites this heart….for each message causes me to dig into His Word more and more and listen intently to the Holy Spirit as He whispers such beauty.
Thank you for your prayers. I surely need them in this hour. May we draw nearer and nearer …..
Love Much,
Ezekiel 37
The Dry Bones Live
37 The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones. 2 Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. 3 And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?”
So I answered, “O Lord God, You know.”
4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 Thus says the Lord God to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live. 6 I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.”’”
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.
9 Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.”’” 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.
11 Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, ‘Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!’ 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Behold, O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. 13 Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves. 14 I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it,” says the Lord.’”
