The day has come when the Deborah in me arises and The Christ presses me onward into battle.
The enemy has been on my land for some 7 years. But, just like God, 7 marks the completion of a thing He has faithfully been turning for my good.
My feet are in the starting blocks and my head rises as the gun is lifted to the air. I see clearly the enemy on my land.
The gun is shot and the echo of its sound runs vibrantly over the hills and into the valleys as my feet are quickened by the Lord. The wait has produced in me a strength not seen before, and suddenly, I realize the enemy sees it too.
He scampers to toss every stumbling block and detour in my path but none are a match for the Spirit in me. I stay on the straight path.
The enemy calls for reinforcements and tries to back door me to cause me to stop running. The Lord reminds me of Nehemiah rebuilding the wall and I hear a gentle, yet commanding, whisper…”Do not come down from the wall.”
I have to trust now the Lord is protecting all the areas the enemy is trying to ravage and I keep running.
As I near my land, I see the fear in the enemy’s eyes realizing he would have been better off never touching certain areas with my name on them. For now there has been an expansion of the land and he is bewildered that pain could cause such a beautiful field of flowers.
I reach the border to which I must cross and we are eyeball to eyeball. I’ve waited for this moment. I’ve been training for this moment. The Spirit of God in me rises as I thrust the marker into the ground as the enemy watches.
“In the name of Jesus and by His authority….this is my land, and you are hereby EVICTED.”
The End..
