Possess

Possess:

a :  to have and hold as property :  own

a :  to seize and take control of :  take into one’s possession b :  to enter into and control firmly
We have been deceived by the enemy to believe humility is synonymous with passivity. Yet in the last couple of days Christ has been speaking to my heart that which is our responsibility as His sheep. The great shepherd says Arise… and possess. Both words indicate action on our part… and He is waiting.
He has been clear and paid a lofty price to offer us freedom. He reminded me yesterday that He..the one who commands the storm to “be still” is the same one who lives within us. Yet we rarely possess that which He has given. We think it admirable to sit back and ponder… when He says possess. We think our duty is to quietly and properly allow the enemy to steal what is rightfully ours daring not to create a stir… never rising to remind him of his place under our feet.
We have allowed Satan to silence the lambs. Much with very intelligent and good reasons. The enemy has even used much scripture on us as he did in the wilderness with Jesus. We are reminded by him to “be quiet”, “don’t be too extreme, ” “careful not to share that experience” , and “remember your place.” Yet uncovered is unbelief in the Christ within us. The one with final authority, dominion, and power to reckon with the principalities. The one who dispersed gifts to every soul of His. The one who chooses and ordains. The one who tells us the calling is without repentance. The one who says there is no Jew or gentile, male nor female… but you are all one in Christ. The one who calls us His temple here on earth. The one who sets our feet in high places. The one whose blood gave us His righteousness and a royal inheritance.
He is calling the Joshua’s, Jeremiah’s, the Deborah’s, the Esther’s, the Abigail’s, the Elijahs and Elisha’s, and the David’s…. it is time to possess the land. To reach the new land you will have to crossover. Crossover from the old into the new. Crossover in your mindset. Mindset of who you think you are… into a mindset of who He says you are. You and I well have to silence every voice but His alone..lest we be deceived into believing we are less than who He created us to be. We will have to come to terms in our hearts that God is supernatural… the same yesterday, today, and forever.
He has come to restore those who have lost their voice. So possess… He fights with you..battle in the prayer closet reminding the enemy of his place…. and as you arise… remind him of yours…. a co-heir with Christ.

I’m coming for my land
You shall remove thy foot.
For all that you have stolen
I take now back from you.

I’m coming for my land
With my eternal deed
It’s signed by Father’s blood
A trust fund saved for me.

I come not in thy might or power of thy flesh
But now I come In Spirit that conquered every death
If you should choose to stay
And fight that which I tend
Know I have an army
Who’ll fight you till the end.
