I see a woman who feels forgotten. Your breath is muffled and tears sting, but you are unable to just let them fall.
The world and those in it have been cruel to you. Your heart has been abused over and over, and you’ve asked the Lord, “What did I do wrong?”
He says, “Nothing.” We are in a fallen world. It makes Him sad too.
Now I see The Christ come to touch your chin. As He does, He gently lifts it upward. “Lift your head,” He says.
“I died for you. That is how much you’re loved. That is how valuable you are. You are My delight. You are a masterpiece. Chosen. Cherished. Adorned with gifts.”
The Lord is restoring your dignity and honor. All that you thought you had lost. He is restoring, also, your name. What is yours is still available to you, but the devil has been lying that there is no hope for your future. Tell him to flee and resist his words.
Jesus is here.
Take His hand and know that beside you walks the High Priest. All that the devil meant for evil God will use for your good.
He is going to restore the joy of your salvation and help that bruised heart of yours.
His love for you is overflowing. There is nothing small about it.
He’s not late. He’s right on time.
Smile again.
He is about to put you back in His Kingdom position.
So lift your head, dear one.
It’s time to rise from the ashes.
Isa 61:3 …and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.
