Within you is something special. Like a secret sauce.
Uniquely you.
I can’t take credit for this phrase but I saw it on another devotional and thought, “That is good!”
It’s this phrase, “What leaves when you leave a room. What comes into the room when you walk in.” (Paraphrasing)
Such a great way of letting you know there is something you have that is irreplaceable.
When you leave a room, it goes with you. No one can copy it. No one can manufacture it. It’s the unique unrepeatable way Jesus works through you. Like a signature.
When we know this, we can be secure in our place in the Kingdom. But we also know to be very careful at being too casual with people. They, too, are irreplaceable.
If you let the wrong people go, you’re likely gonna be missing the special ingredient God sent you for a lovely purpose. When they leave because you’ve mishandled them, they will take the light of Christ in them with them.
On the other hand, it should be so exhilarating to us that God with us is beautifully portrayed in us in such a way that causes Him to be seen differently in every life and heart.
An artist will bring to the room The Creator, God, who designed the beauty of all creation, its vast colors, and majestic ways He speaks.
The poet and psalmist will bring to us the poetic heart of God in a love language that only they can.
The knitted evangelist will bring into a room the passionate heart of Christ drawing man to Himself with a zeal to call us to decide to follow Jesus!
The shepherd will gently tend your wounds and mend your hearts as Jesus in them really does.
Whatever is in you, is uniquely yours.
You need to know it.
Feel safe in that space.
You were formed to carry Christ in a way no one else can.
In a world where the enemy is causing people to casually consider the value of hearts. Understand that people are irreplaceable.
If you’ve been rejected by men, trust me, they lost something when you left. They may not know it right then, but they will.
But if you are rooted in the truth that Christ in you is just for you, then you’ll be able to keep on walking knowing all things will work together for your good.
Jesus thinks you’re precious, valuable, a masterpiece made by His own hands, and in all the lovely ways that make you, YOU….
You are irreplaceable.
Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
