It has been while listening to the darkest of valley seasons in any given life that I have seen the light of Christ shine the brightest.
To preach of no suffering in regard to Christ and the cross is another gospel indeed and a different Jesus to which some are following.
How does one enter into the fellowship of His sufferings without the personal season likened to it?
Shallow theology, shallow faith, and shallow obedience comes with a shallow gospel message. It is merely a cheap grace.
We’ve raised up a church very often where lack of suffering is success and any sign of suffering must be sin, when in all honesty the opposite is likely more true.
Suffering comes to the most obedient saints just as much as to the rebellious one.
To the devil, is a serious point of contention that sends him into reeling anger to halt the forward movement of a saint pulling others out of Hell or out of any kind of bondage.
Show me a serious follower of Jesus busy with Kingdom commitment, and I’ll promise you there is a life of lonely suffering hidden from your view.
There is a cost to the saint daring to go deeper into the heart of Christ. To the one pleading to be used by Him will come circumstances that feel like fatal woundings and battle fatigue that could paralyze the strongest of warriors. Yet, in the heat of such a war has been learned to stand again and again, waging war on Hell’s minions and lifting a sword with often shaky arms with an absolute refusal to die.
If you think I’m being melodramatic go run with Jesus with all your heart, soul, and mind, then come back, and see me.
I’ve had the absolute honor of loving warriors back to life. Canceling demonic assignments on hearts longing for more of Jesus, and reminding many on the front lines for WHOM they fight.
If you want a cheap gospel that costs you nothing, keep scrolling, I’m not your girl.
But if you want the real Jesus who knowingly plunged into a certain death, so you could be free of sin, rose again and sent His Spirit to enable you to do what is not humanly possible, and you’re willing to lose your life to be known as a troublemaker to Hell…
Then I’m your girl…
