Many are in what seems to be a unique and very restless transition.
Christ is now “remodeling” your house.
Definition of remodeling:
transitive verb
1
: to alter the structure of : REMAKE
2
: to cause (living tissue) to undergo structural reorganization, alteration, or renewal
You’ll find yourself quickly moving into new rooms.
You’ll also find yourself switching wardrobe closets. Jesus will be actively showing you whether you’ve been wearing the proper clothes. The attire that fits with your divine gifting.
Some of those clothes will be left behind in the old season. You are never to wear them again. While others will change in size and shape. Some of us have carried baggage that caused us to run with 2 sizes too large clothing and God is now correcting that by removing unnecessary baggage.
Your old season has passed.
The new season is here.
If you resist, death will ensue. It will be slow but sure. For Christ is moving upon His wind and whispering into the Spirit of those leaning in.
The walls of your house will be changing colors and textures. Even the flooring will be replaced. Some of your foundations have been laid by error, and He is now dealing with those hidden things that have kept you hindered from advancement.
Some of those things are people-pleasing, laying down the authority entrusted to you, and decisions made out of painful memories. Some of your behaviors and tendencies have risen out of a lack of heart healing. Jesus is now bringing His light to shine on areas you have given place to that have caused His ministry in you to fall short, or take a back seat.
It will feel a bit like the rug has been pulled out from under you. However, it is a move of God that will bring the greatest harvest you’ve ever seen.
Surrender, fully, to His hand.
Please know that remodeling comes with a COST and a LOSS!
Some rooms will no longer remain. Clutter will be disposed of. That which is excess will be gone. Anything not serving its purpose will no longer exist.
Demolition is an uncomfortable part of the remodeling process while it is also an exciting part. It wipes the slate clean. Signifies a new beginning. Allows new perspective and necessary change.
Your house will undergo a make-over. It may not be a complete make-over but one that pinpoints where change is needed to move forward.
Other rooms will carry new light fixtures that enable you to see more clearly the heart of God. There shall be no more dim lighting. False theologies and belief systems that have dimmed your eyesight will be now uprooted in the name of Jesus.
Some have fireplaces that have been dormant. Not working. Void of warmth and energy. No fire at all.
He is causing these hearths of the homes to be ignited. The Holy Ghost, alone, will fuel the new house. No more human strength. No more mental ascents. No more wisdom of man. The new land will be fed by rain from Heaven. You must now operate on spiritual wisdom and knowledge only. Revelation will be key.
Any idols that have been secret pets will be demolished, and it will feel like a crushing. The heart has been entirely too intertwined with that which is opposing the plan of God. He will now take 1st place.
Some things will be re-purposed and merely rearranged. Some things will be merged for simplicity’s sake. Jesus is making what has been too heavy now lighter. He is also making the rough smooth and the crooked straight.
This transition and remodel will require patience.
But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. (James 1:4)
Be encouraged O’ saints of God.
You are in the hands of the Master Carpenter.
