Disrobe: to strip of clothing or covering
The enemy has come to strip you of your God-ordained robe.
Many mantles have been tossed casually your way in hopes that you might pick one up. The trouble is…none are from God.
The enemy is skilled at luring us with false mantles, like bait on a fishing line. Our pride and flesh love to be fed. Often, our insecurities, or a desire to belong, will cause a misstep right here.
I sat straight up in the bed last night as I heard the word, “disrobe.”
I hear the whisper of the Lord commanding you, and I, to remove every false mantle weighing us down. Some came with a flattering tongue to seduce you into fulfilling a counterfeit plan. At the root is distraction and deception. It is only meant to “keep” you from that uniquely called purpose and place meant just for you.
Do not come into agreement with the devil.
Some have “covered” you in an illegitimate authority not sent by God. Come out from under it immediately. Jesus must be LORD once and for all.
Let God expose every tie that binds and every noose that ain’t loose. Cling! Clang! Hear those CHAINS! Run to freedom…
Aren’t you tired of wearing other people’s clothes? A mismatched wardrobe not fit for you? Some have closets full of them. Remember wise David-he knew he could not fight in another man’s armor.
Disrobe, quickly. There is no time to waste.
There was a season where I heard the Lord instruct me to clean out my closet because He was changing my wardrobe. He wanted me to literally remove “who I had been” so He could make me into “who I was becoming.” There would be a spiritual and a literal transformation take place.
Bags full of old attire were hauled out as, piece by piece; a new wardrobe was being built over time. So was a new heart and a new assigned ministry.
Some robes are simply ready for retirement while others were offered as a false representation of who others desire you to be rather than who Christ is calling you to be. Not every need is to be met by you, friend.
Wave goodbye to those robes gifted to you to cover you, as well as The Christ in you. The enemy has deployed an all-out assault to move you off task.
Do you perceive it?
To the right and to the left comes an army sent to deter you. Hold you off. Detain your destiny. It’s like an ambush so you’ve been thrown off balance. Worn down. Wearied.
But look up at the King holding up His royal robe for you. It’s perfectly matched and fits no one else. GO PICK IT UP!
Do not let the enemy strip you of your uniquely colored coat, robe, or divine mantle.
Ask Jesus to show your heart what He sees in the spiritual war that is raging daily and be ye prepared to…disrobe.
