There are many lonely hearts longing secretly to be noticed.
They’ll likely have trouble making eye contact. Pain has brought forth insecurity, and often past rejections will cause them to cower as they enter a room. You’ll find them often hiding in a dark corner, not wanting to be seen yet needing to be seen.
You see, the devil is in their ear. Telling them to stay invisible. Go unnoticed. Remain silent and nameless.
However, Christ thought well of every unique name in His Word and perfectly called into being each life.
Not to hide into the shadows, but to be a lighthouse that draws those lost and seeking rescue.
It is a beautiful thing to partner with Jesus to uncover what we might call diamonds in the rough. The ones who have felt invisible to others. Never really noticed by circles and cliques. Unique hearts that passionately set ablaze the heart of God when He thinks on them.
In all honesty, I think God deeply cherishes the hearts that bring the unseen into the light of Christ, where He soon shines through them for all to see.
That “Diamond in the rough” will become a beacon of hope under the proper care.
Pay attention friends. You might soon be shown a diamond in the rough hiding in a corner, sitting alone and on the outside of your normal circles. Please don’t pass them by.
When God takes your eyes and lets you see them, He is doing so for a reason.
You were just given an assignment from Heaven. To show them what He has shown you through His eyes.
That heart is a treasure to Him.
Steward it well.
