You have not been forgotten or forsaken.
As I look across the field, I see you.
I know the wonderings of your broken heart.
I know while you’re caring for Naomi’s grief, you carry your own.
I see the pain of being in a new land with no familiar faces. I do know everything has changed and nothing seems normal.
You’ve been brave to willingly leave your home for a land who calls you a foreigner.
I know that smile you keep plastered on your face hides deep sorrow. Life is no longer the same for you.
I see the quiet tears you wipe away as you glean in the field trying to keep safe on an unknown road.
Your heart is always on high alert with the “What if’s.”
I’ve gone ahead of you, Ruth.
I’ve made provision for you that you don’t even know of yet.
You’ll not have to look far for the food you need or the safety you desire.
Those in my care and service know I own the field and they’ve been instructed to quietly protect you in your comings and goings.
I’m watching over you, Ruth.
Every moment of every day I see you.
You’re deeply loved by Me.
Signed,
The Kinsman Redeemer
