Then the lookout called, “O Lord, I stand continually by day on the watchtower, And I am stationed every night at my guard post. (Isaiah 21:8)
You and I will have to be on guard as the enemy comes to distract the work Christ asks of us. Many times we have a vision but a good and admirable thing comes along…so we lay down our work to accommodate such a thing. Then suddenly we have come down from the wall and the vision is derailed and sometimes even destroyed. Yet dead ahead is a coming war in which Christ has prepared us to fight with Him. A war against the enemy for souls. A war to pull the brethren from the pits and prisons.
There is a supernatural discernment given by the Holy Spirit that we must have in this hour. We must become people of God walking in the Spirit of God….to see the unseen. We must cease taking everything within our human sight as the truth. For even in the truth at times there is just enough distortion to get you off course. Stay on the wall….and hold your post. Watch and prepare for where THE CAPTAIN is taking you…and be very careful of voices sent to capture your attention away from that which Christ is calling you to do.
Dead Ahead
“Come here Ole friend,”
I cannot sir
For Christ has set a course.
Now I must stay
Upon thy stern
My Captains made His choice.
For I shall keep my heart sure set
Not right or left I’ll turn.
For there’s a land awaiting me
Towards the rising Son.
The battle plan rolled out and set
The soldiers are in place
Warring horses gallop strong
And smell the coming days.
“Come on ole friend
You have much time
Before the ship’s at port.”
Do not you understand dear friend
Dead ahead’s a coming war.
