Jesus was clear that His house shall be called a house of prayer. He was visibly upset at that which was going on in His house. So much so that He overturned the tables. Our meek and humble Savior is still the Almighty One with power enough to rise in anger at mockery. Over the years, I have seen concerning things allowed in the house of God and in the homes of His people. Some of course is mere lack of knowledge. I, too, have been there..and honestly am still learning daily. Much is taken lightly at the passing of communion cups, the purity of heart necessary before a Holy God in worship, and the seemingly minute tasks of Church that seem trivial but can be an open door for the enemy to wreak havoc. Yet careful we must be at the hands which lay upon our children for prayers of blessing, the hands passing the holy bread and cups to our lips, or us each as we lay hands upon the sick. May our hands be clean…rather than secretly soiled. Should hidden sin creep in …the Spirit of God will be hindered. Deception of paramount proportion has now entered our homes and is deeply embedded into congregations across the globe. A gentle warning is also given to be careful what is brought into our homes or our churches. Symbols carry much weight as do items used in ancient witchcraft. The best advice is to research anything you know little about. Study to show yourself approved in all things. Dare not toy with dream catchers, broken crosses, or the like. For in these things are spirits …yet not that of the Living God…but one sent from Hell itself. We must rid ourselves of all these things and clean the temple.
O see my God to hidden things
What doth Thou eyes behold?
A pondering rings into my heart
Cleanse the temple whole.
Where thy hands are touching space
Reserved for righteous ones.
Not perfection I do ask
But hands now clean of dung.
Loosed has Satan in Thy Church
He’s placed in secret spots
That which seems meaningless
Perhaps means a lot.
Comb thy land and territory
Rid any dark strongholds.
Keep my house clean and pure
If I shall come be home.
Hindrance is in little things
Crept in a slight cracked door.
Halting power and holiness
The threshold of the Lord .
Taint thou not Thy ancient paths
With hands of rebelliousness.
For rebellion is as witchcraft
And does quench Thy promised gift.

Daniel 5:23
Instead, you have set yourself up against the Lord of heaven. You had the goblets from his temple brought to you, and you and your nobles, your wives and your concubines drank wine from them. You praised the gods of silver and gold, of bronze, iron, wood and stone, which cannot see or hear or understand. But you did not honor the God who holds in his hand your life and all your ways.
Joshua Ch 7
4 So there went up thither of the people about three thousand men: and they fled before the men of Ai.
8 O Lord, what shall I say, when Israel turneth their backs before their enemies!
10 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Get thee up; wherefore liest thou thus upon thy face?
