There is a deep deep problem in the Kingdom
Unseen by the natural eye
But a hardness of heart of God’s people
For others who are different than thine.
Where hatred may not be so evident
Yet a prejudice so subtle to man
But God the seeing one is heart broken
Of the love that is lacking in the land.
It’s rooted in pride and in arrogance
A bigotry that’s held high esteemed
Forsaking those called by Heaven
Rejecting their gifts and their pleas.
Until our very eyes soon do open
Christ will refuse shallow prayers
For wrestle His heart not with color
Nor gender does nullify fair.
Be cautious to repeat all history
And think now that we shall escape
The judgement that Christ still has promised
Repent now before it’s too late.
