Sin to the Surface

He has watched

He has waited

He has grieved

At hearts deceived.

Healing comes on His wings

Wholeness knocks at the door

Yet, sin must come to the surface

Giving it no more room to speak.

Honesty is a treasure

Mercy is abounding

Fear not His hand

Love is His heart.

The altar waits

He calls you to “Come”

Confess that which He already sees

His arms are open wide.

He will not turn away

Freedom is at your fingertips

Don’t you see Him reaching for you?

Don’t be afraid.

He formed you in the womb

He delights in you

Come back to Him

It’s time for a wardrobe change.

Sin cannot be hidden

For it finds you out

It betrays you

Sin is not your friend.

It holds you in a prison

Christ wants to release you

He will take your pain

For He is a gentle Father.

Will you trust Him?

He knows your fears

He knows your past

Neither is a match for Him.

His fire purifies

He forges beauty in pain

He creates out of nothing

He has no lack.

What He has He offers you…
