Holy Audacity

Holy Audacity

Holy Audacity

One of the marks of being filled with the Holy Spirit is holy boldness. “Streams in the Desert” today added “holy audacity.”

I tend to love that.

Audacity is “a willingness to take bold, daring risks.”

What in the world might have been thought of the character John the Baptist in his wild manner of living and his boldness to harken like a herald the message of repentance.

It is certain in this hour we need voices to rise with that same holy audacity that he had.

Do not think it strange when such a trial comes in the whispers of, “How dare she say that…” or “Why can’t he let it go?”

Those being called to rise in this hour are contenders of the faith whereby holy audacity is a trademark.

The Spirit of God will cause you to “speak what you have seen and heard.”

God, in you, will stand up against injustices and you might be found in a line up along with historical figures like Rosa Parks, Harriet Tubman, Martin Luther King, Jackie Pullinger, Esther, David, and those like John the Baptist.

You’ll disrupt the status quo because Jesus in you will not be silent in the face of the enemy. He has prepared you in this hour to stand against evil, blow the whistle on hidden wickedness, and rally the others to fight for truth.

“Is there not a cause?” I can hear David whispering throughout the generations.

It is not the call of God to allow the giants to have a free-for-all with the people of God.

As a royal priest I am called to unearth idols, watch and pray, tear down satanic altars, and bring the good news of Jesus to others.

Silence does none of those things.

We must warn with a holy boldness.
Speak under unction.
Rescue those in need.
Have the holy audacity to call sin out from among us.

The army is rising.
It’ll be surprising.
It will be full of voices who were neglected and rejected. Abandoned and abused. Mocked and scorned.

Yet, all of “that” allowed the dying of self in a way that now the King has cultivated within them a holy audacity to wreck Hell.

They won’t be afraid
They are what I call “Staying” people.

They stay in prayer.
They stay in His presence.
They stay focused.
They stay in the fight.
They stay when others leave.

They have a “staying power” which is none other than the Holy Ghost.

Holy audacity…
I dare you to be a risk-taker with Christ.

And if you have yet to receive the power of the Holy Spirit through the baptism of the Spirit, I dare you to ask Him for it.

Then you’ll understand better what is meant by Holy Audacity💣

Acts 4:29-31: After prayer, the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God with boldness, causing the place of gathering to shake.

Acts 4:13: The leaders marveled at the boldness of Peter and John, recognizing they were untrained men who had been with Jesus.

Proverbs 28:1: “The righteous are bold as a lion.”
