The Lost Slipper

The Lost Slipper

The Lost Slipper

The Lost Slipper

A limp is noticed in thy sway

A slipper lost along the way

The road has swallowed and buried names

Unclaimed My daughter’s inheritance today.

She’s climbed the stairs and left her coach

For Satan has caused much reproach

Yet in Christ’s hand what’s lost is found

“Come O daughters glance around.”

Thy midnight clock, oh yes, will strike

But pumpkins not when you arise

For I declare your royal lot

Should you dare to take your spot.

Tis no dream or fairytale

Twas secured with driven nails

You were born with ME to stand

Out from under lies of man.

O’ see Thy prize..pastures green!

Take great courage and follow ME

Lift Thy cross and break the yoke

Freedom waits here at MY throne.

See Thy trail of petals fall

Pick each up ..keep Thy walk.

Through the woods with strength of trees

The slipper waits it’s appointed feet.
