My Safe Abode..

My Safe Abode..

My Safe Abode..

There is never a time of weariness from His sweetness.  Every song, every poem..each time is as if it’s the first time. Each time is a new way of seeing Him. His face becomes more visible..His nature more sweet..His presence more delightful. I often tell Him, “what did I do before you?”

Thou glistens and gleans
Even in stings
Without you
I could never be.

Your gentle ways
Revealing your face
Cause more hunger for thee.

When storms rage about
With darkened clouds
I hide in your safe abode.

Tucked underneath
Protected wings
Shielded from wind’s that blow.
