A Great Mistake
There’s such great mistake that’s often made
In seeing one sent a natural way
Dressing them as we might desire
Yet, Christ sends out by Sovereign power.
Woman or man be cautious you see
Christ He has spoken to many of these
Ignore do not because of thy frame
Gender, color, or worldly fame.
David was never brought to the Lord
Forsaken by those who saw him be born
To limited eyes such familiar name
David overlooked for kingly reign.
The least of the tribe Gideon was sought
Called he was forth hiding in dark
Paul such a strange one chosen above
A killer at heart changed by Christ’s love.
Oh dare we find that we shan’t receive
One Christ sent to rescue for Thee
When trials come and tribulation is fierce
We shall be thankful whom ever it is.
He’s always ordained from Heaven’s throne
Before the foundation of the world was known
Names and callings already in place
Each day ordained before any became.
Likely we shall be surprised at His heart
When He does reveal end from the start
When He calls the roll many will see
The honors bestowed upon the least of these.
