Execute
In prayer I was thinking about Deborah, the leader, the judge, the prophetess, and the mother of Israel.
She was entrusted with a heavenly task. Actually, many tasks. It is weighty to judge rightly between righteousness and unrighteousness.
It is an honor also to carry a cross for a nation, or people, whereby God has called you to lead.
She was designed to prophetically see to the truth of individual matters as well as national matters.
One minute she is a mother to Israel while simultaneously leading an entire nation into war.
As a commander in chief chosen by God she must have carried the ability to execute well the plans of God.
We are in a season whereby God desires us to execute what we hear and see. Otherwise, the vision will not come to pass.
At some point we put our hands to the plow to labor for the birthing of that which God is calling into a season.
Plow, saints, plow.
Execute the strategies of Heaven.
God may well give you insight but you will still be required to execute the plan.
While His Spirit is blowing upon it, your hands must be partnering with Him.
Many receive assignments from the Lord but never execute the vision. Therefore, there are a lot of unfinished Kingdom visions.
It might seem spiritual to say you are waiting on the Lord, and at times this is the call, however very often God is waiting on you to execute His plan faithfully.
The yoke that is easy is not the same as complacency or lukewarmness.
What God can no longer trust us with will be given to the faithful stewards. It is not His desire but it is a clearly mapped out biblical principle in the parable of the talents.
Count the cost of your “yes.”
Your “yes” comes with responsibility and a cross that you must pick up and carry.
There is no room for onlookers. Nor is this a spectator sport. You are indeed a divine participant in the work, itself.
Deborah was stout in her “yes.”
She was a good steward of lives and her platform as a righteous judge.
She was known among the people as a mother. She would have been nurturing yet honest in people’s conflicts and questions. Her “yes” would have been “yes” and her “no” would have been “no.”
To lead an entire army, she would have been decisive, persuasive, encouraging, confident. Never slack in her integrity not given over to slumber.
She had a home life and husband yet her commitment to the Lord did not waiver or take a backseat. She was bound to the Lord to fulfill her ministry.
She was full of wisdom not just to see the heart of God in a matter, but to execute what she saw with vigor.
Her name means “Honey Bee.”
Her words were healing balms and sweet morsels of encouragement yet she was a worker bee for the Kingdom.
Busy as a bee she was with all that was entrusted to her the moment God formed her in womb.
She didn’t boast in herself. It was simply who God designed her to be.
A warrior, she was, given the insight of victory due to her gift as a prophetess. She knew how the battle would end because she heard from God and she executed what He instructed her to do.
This is the season not just to see and hear what God is desiring to do but to execute His plan with boldness and strength.
You might labor tirelessly but when the vision is fulfilled you will surely rest and see the beauty of all God entrusted you with.
Every leader gets weary. I’m sure Deborah did also. Yet, she kept plowing and kept executing until the battle was indeed won.
Today she is written into history as one of God’s mighty and faithful warriors.
