Trust is hard, isn’t it?
It’s the moment you think, “I need the answer right this minute!”
And suddenly God seems silent.
He might answer and speak into a thousand other issues while never touching the one you feel you need first.
I guess this is when it gets into an advanced training in trusting Jesus in all things.
He is fully aware of every deadline in your life, every fearful whisper of need, and all the “what-ifs” that keep plaguing you.
Yet in all of this, He is active and on duty. Working it fully out for your good.
Finding the rest in Jesus is not for the faint of heart. It takes resilience and strength to sit still and wait, keep your face set like flint, and faith your way through.
He is not dismissing the pain of that wait either. He is surely taking it into account. He is being sure that this struggle is strengthening your wings for a future flight to “Go and tell” others coming behind you.
The picture is indeed bigger than what you think. Your wait is working on a grand plan where you’re but a small piece of a larger puzzle being put together.
There’s some kind of weaving going on where character and integrity, trust and faith, destiny and purpose are all coming together for the fulfillment of a “thing” in God’s heart.
Trust.
A big mountain, indeed, yet one that can be conquered through Christ Jesus.
Proverbs 3:5 (Amplified)
Trust in and rely confidently on the LORD with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding.
