I spent some really good time with a sweet friend this week. Her love for the broken is like mine and there are times you need a good dreaming session with like-minded people.
What I love about her most is her pure heart for the hurting.
She’s bold as a lion but also takes good care of hearts.
God is very kind to give us friendships while in Kingdom work.
I’ve learned over my years to cherish those because they are Heaven’s gifts.
Not everyone will walk well with you. There have been many times I’ve been at tables that were wrecked by the enemy. It can leave a person afraid to give your heart away again.
I’ve spent some time recently with another new leader friend and it’s been beautiful to see God gift us also with like hearts and minds.
We can just borrow each other’s couches for our own therapy sessions.
Kingdom work can be so hard sometimes. So, when God sends a new gift in the way of friendships to bless us, let us be sure to tend to them carefully.
There have been several times in my life that I didn’t know the preciousness of a heart until they were suddenly gone.
Those are the regrets that stay with you forever.
