You come into a season with Christ where you’ve grown in Him in such a way that causes you to be super careful of your days. In that place you know that you only have so much time to spend and you had better make it count.

 

If the power of the Spirit isn’t present, I have no time to sit awhile. If mixture is swirling, I’m gonna have to exit quickly.

 

I’m looking to be pulled higher in Christ not lower, and I think it’s time many of us royal priests take that same stand in, and for, the Kingdom sake.

 

Unless Jesus has specifically told me to “Go” I’m telling you I’m heading only where the full gospel is preached and where ministry is the mindset. I’m out on secular distractions in the name of “ministry.” I need Jesus and nothing more, or less.

 

I need to encounter Christ and have Him encounter me. Where that is happening, well, that’s where I’ll be.

 

If Holy Spirit is not welcome, then neither am I. If His own house has changed the locks on Him, well, it just isn’t for me because Christ is The Door, after all, and wherever that river runs, there is life.

 

I’m running to where I can weep at an altar, confess safely my shortcomings, grow in the ways of Holy Spirit, and heal where I’ve been wounded.

 

I’m going where scripture isn’t just quoted but it is fully lived and to a place where the fruit is indeed telling The Truth of Jesus.

 

Anywhere else, honestly, I’m just too old and my time is now scarce. I can’t afford to waste one second.

 

If religion has the reins,

I’ll have to pass.

If prayer isn’t key,

Nothing will last.

 

If lives are not being laid down for the sake of others

Then something is amiss sisters and brothers.

 

We are in the last days and every last day that I have left needs to be intentional following closely the footsteps of Christ in this hour.

 

Because one day, I’m gonna answer for every second of my time on this earth.
