Rebellion is knowing what God said, but choosing to not obey.
Rebellion is refusing to honor what God honors. This includes people.
I had a dream last night and observed a pastor standing up at a table toasting the crowd while saying, “She’ll have to be honored by someone else.” With a wicked laughter there was a refusal to honor another servant of God.
Don’t you know that God still tells on people, today, so we’re not unwise of the devils schemes?
Whew. We have many leaders in rebellion today while accommodating the crowds.
Rebellion refuses what God wants.
Rebellion rejects the truth or even the considering that our stance on a matter is wrong.
Rebellion is knowing what God calls us to but going in another direction.
Rebellion chases money rather than God’s heart for people.
Rebellion watches that television show anyways even when it grieves God.
Rebellion spews profanities even when God says “let no perverse thing come from your mouth.”
Rebellion.
Rebellion always chooses what we want over what God wants.
But rebellion has a high price tag.
It’ll rob you of peace.
Rob you of provision.
Rob you of freedom.
Rob you of relationships.
Rob you of destiny.
Rebellion.
Its home is Hell and its Father is a liar.
Nothing good comes from rebellion.
Nothing at all…
