The Journey With Jesus

There will be times when you want to stay, but God says, “Go.”

When you’d like to stand down from your God-given post.

There’s times of loneliness when sent to a scene

For not everyone goes when you’re called by the King.

The trials might be harsher with each corner turned

But when it is over they’ll be lessons learned.

One thing I know after all of these years

Jesus will confront every one of your fears.

His heart is for freedom for your very life

And He will surely guard you from that devil’s lies.

And when that ole’ snake comes close for a strike

The Lion of Judah will rise in His might.

Endure in these seasons and cling to the King

For there is a “suddenly” soon to be seen.

For Jesus has secretly expanded your tent

And filled all your land with bountiful gifts.

The devil planned evil, but God simply sowed

In some rich soil and watched it grow

And now what was meant to kill you, you see…

Has actually EXPANDED your ministry.
