The Coming Prophets

If you are in the camp that preaches the prophets are no more then you’ll have to follow suit with the pastor, teacher, and evangelist, yes? The same scriptures name them all. So let us reason…

Though much confusion can be had in the realm of prophecy, make no mistake the prophets do live. God has never once revoked the call to the prophets ordained by His hand.

Perhaps we do not wish to hear from them? If we would listen we might hear the call to repentance ushered into every heart indeed. None are above the Lord though many “little lords” have risen. Many have tried to put away the prophets.

The coming prophets will be as those of old

Persecuted most by those in the sheepfold

Chased by the Jezebel and Ahab stronghold

Be sure the coming prophets

Will bring the fire of old.

The sin will not be overlooked

No matter the shiny prestige

For in an instance every Baal

Will fall from idolatry.

The Lord is sending His messengers

Scourged by fiery trials

Mocked and often ridiculed

But sent by eyes of fire.

Watch and pray and be alert

Our sin shall find us out

Nothing hidden from the Lord

Every morsel He’ll devour.

The Prophets will turn the tables o’er

It shall surprise a few

For coming up from the wilderness

Are voices sent to brood.

The men, and women, silenced long

Are coming on the scene

They will not play with unclean fire

But bind the devil’s deeds.

All of darkness knows it’s near

Attacks have been unleashed

But just like John the Baptist man

Are coming God’s prophets indeed.

Deception has no place to hide

When Elijah-like men do come

For when you look into his eyes

He’ll see the sin that runs.

Prepare ye now the Bride for bells

The Groom is up ahead

Waiting His Word to finish well

Every detail He has said.
